Since surviving a fatal alcohol related car crash in 1996, Traci has been an outspoken advocate for public safety, substance abuse education, treatment and prevention.

Traci is a licensed mental health counselor and an internationally board certified addiction counselor currently pursuing her doctorate in General Psychology. Her research is focused on"effective drug treatment".

While many believe addiction is a choice, Traci believes the choice to use drugs and alcohol belong to the indivdual but the brain may be the organ that drives an individual to repeat dangerous and illegal behaviors. "We want to look at the brain in order to make an accurate diagnosis."

Christopher Ministries is pursuing grants for research opportunities to promote public safety and substance abuse education.
